About

PodcastFinder is a powerful semantic search engine for podcasts. We search through podcasts, episodes, authors, keywords.. everything that authors put out there to be discovered by you, the precious listener.

Why?

Discovering podcasts is broken these days. We listen to podcasts as you do. We have our favorites. But there is a tremendous amount of authors and publishers out there that produce outstanding content and are to be discovered yet. We find it difficult to find another great piece to listen to.

What do you usually do when you’re looking for podcasts about a specific topic or with a specific person attending as a guest or host? You google it, right? But, Google is a search engine for everything out there. It throws at you lots of pages that somehow mention what you’ve searched for. You need to dig through a big pile of non-related pages and click-baits before you find what you need.

🎉 We launched Podcast Finder to help you find exactly what you’re looking for.

So what is PodcastFinder?

PodcastFinder is a powerful semantic search engine for podcasts. We search through podcasts, episodes, authors, keywords.. everything that authors put out there to be discovered by you, the precious listener.

For example, if you’re looking for something to learn about 📈 through the roof topic “blockchain” — just type “blockchain” and see what podcasts or specific episodes cover it. If you need to be more specific, say you’re looking for investing advice in blockchain — type “blockchain investing” and that should do the trick.

Tip: switching to episodes in search results could give you more specific results when you want to listen about some topic or find a person of interest appearing in one of the episodes.

What's coming?

We are just a small one-🍕 team of podcast listeners. We just launched PodcastFinder and now building most crucial features related to search and discovery. But there are a lot of user-related features that we plan to launch within next few weeks (like personal playlists). Also, we have a tight backlog of features for podcast publishers.

Feel free to drop us a line at hello@podcastfinder.co. Your feedback is valuable to us and would help us build a better product for you. Everything goes, like ideas, thoughts and even 😡(rage)! 😉

Cheers,
